The shop is named Venetia for my daughter names. Every time someone reads that name on the sign, I smile — she's the reason I get up before sunrise.

I'm a single mom. I'm new to truck driving, and they don't pay me what this work is worth. So I started making mugs — truck mugs, with words only us drivers really understand — to help give my daughter a little more.

It hasn't been easy. Some people only judge — "that's not a woman's job," "why bring a kid into this life." But every mug I sell carries a piece of my story. Mother and daughter, both finding our way down a hard road — still moving forward, together.
